Ando um cinéfilo....

Scenes from a Marriage.

In 1900 His Majesty Cinemato Graph comes to Riga to woo her. The handle of the camera is spinning. Tzar Nikolai II is on a visit to Riga and Alexander Stanke is shooting the event.
A camera has captured the fall of German shells in the summer of 1914 (filmed by Eduards Tisse) and the independent state of Latvia has also been caught on film (by Eduards Kraucs in The Latvian Chronicle). Feature films grow in popularity. Alida Kigule un Lia Mara, who were born in Riga, take part in films in Austria, London, Germany. Maria Leiko cooperates with the Max Reinhardt theatre and is filmed together with F.W. Murnau. In 1937 she is filmed in Moscow, where she gets arrested and ends her life in a prison cell by hanging herself.

Presumo que seja bom, não porque se passe naquele país que não irei referir com medo de me tornar um bocado chato....
